F.A.Q.
Q. What is a fanzine?A fanzine, derived from 'fan-made magazine', is a non-official publication produced by fans of a particular fandom or cultural phenomenon, for other fans who share their interest.Q. What is Inheritance about?'Inheritance' puts a focus on the group of characters known as the "Warrior Unit of Marley" or the "Warriors", from the manga and anime Attack on Titan. This zine explores the intricacy of the Warriors' lives and their struggles, but also the comfort and support they find in one another, and the missing moments we didn't get to see.Q. Who are the Warriors? The Warrior Unit is a subdivision of the Marleyan military, whose members are Eldian soldiers trained to inherit the power of one of the seven Titans under Marley government's control. The main characters include: Reiner Braun, Bertholdt Hoover, Annie Leonhardt, Zeke Yeager, Pieck Finger, Porco Galliard, Marcel Galliard, Colt Grice, Falco Grice, Gabi Braun, Udo and Zofia. We would also like to include Tom Xaver and commander Theo Magath, should contributors want to create around them.Q. Are romantic pairings included? No, only platonic relationships are represented in this project. In simple terms, affection can be shown between characters, as long as it doesn’t explicitly read as romantic.Q. What is the rating of the zine? This zine is rated T and contains mild violence, imagery of weapons, and blood. Discretion is advised.Q. Is this a charity zine?Yes it is a non-profit project, our remaining proceeds will be donated to the Palestine Children's Relief Fund.Q. How will contributors be compensated?Ideally, we aim to compensate all contributors with a full bundle of our zine. However, as we can’t predict funds, if we financially cannot afford to, each contributor will at least receive a full digital copy of the zine, and the physical zine, although shipping may not be included. We will publish a breakdown of the final finances as a matter of transparency.Q. Will contributors retain the rights to their works?Yes, of course! All works created for this project are owned by the contributor(s) it is created by. However, we ask that those pieces are not distributed or sold publicly throughout the duration of the project’s creation and sales periods.Find a preorder focused F.A.Q. on our shop.Don't see your question?
